The picturesque city of Riga hosted the maiden voyage of the GSOP Live, with players from around the world descending upon the cultural and commercial centre of the Baltic states.
The GSOP Live Riga saw 283 players join us at the Royal Casino in Latvia, to be part of a historical chapter of poker! Congratulations then to Betsson’s Martin Emanuesson as the very first ever winner of GSOP Live. Martin won over €63 000 in first prize.

Player Mykola G just made a massive achievement by winning a $3 000 GSOP live Malta package through our Freeroll step qulifiers on Sunday November 7th. Mykola had to play four tournaments and end up in the top in all to be able to win the package.

Riga follow up Tournament!
To show our appreciation from GSOP live Riga we invited all players that represented Betsson throughout the tournament (43 players) for a special Online Freeroll. There were three “Online final” tickets for GSOP live Malta in the prizepool up for grabs. We also put a $50 bounty on the Riga winner Martin for the player who eliminated Martin out of the tournament.
We congrats players wildbrain, Dexedrine and Raugraf of the $320 ticket and wildbrain for the $50 bounty prize!

Martin Won GSOP live Riga!
The first leg of the GSOP Live tour has come to an end, and the Riga event is confirmed to be an outright success. A total of 283 players entered the tournament, making it the biggest international tournament Riga has seen in terms of player count.
The final table ended in a heads-up battle between Denmark’s Morten Mortensen and Sweden’s Martin Emanuelsson (Betsson), where Emanuelsson knocked out Mortensen, emerging as the first ever GSOP Live winner collecting over €63,000 and a seat at the GSOP Live Grand Finale in Seville.
