We are looking for new developers for our team in Manila, with focus on both front-end and back-end.
Developer in Betssongroup:
In the role as .NET developer you will be working with one of the Betssongroup products. Focus between front-end and back-end varies with which projects are prioritized but most projects involve both.
To make sure we deliver world-class technical solutions we work with the latest in technologies and also use agile methods. We have been working agile for a few years and our project teams typically has between 4 and 8 persons who works according to Scrum and sometimes Kanban. Our environment is Microsoft focussed and on top of our exciting technical challenges we also make sure to have lots of fun together, both on and off work.
As with all people in Betsson you are a person with social skills, good at communicating and likes working in a great team!
Your profile – Back-end:
We want you to have a college degree in computer science (or equivalent) and have a few years of experience in development. Maybe you have worked with developing an online shop, a platform handling high load of transactions or online gaming. Working with distributed systems is an advantage.
We believe that you have:
• Several years of experience in .NET and C#
• Several years of experience in developing distributed systems with eg Web services or WCF.
• Database knowledge, MS SQL Server 2005 or 2008
• Degree in computer science or similar
• Experience or a desire to working agile is an advantage
Your profile – Front-end:
We think you have worked for a couple of years with web development, maybe developing a big online shop or in a web bureau with big projects and integrations. You have worked with sites with high demands on performance and uptime and with systems integrating different systems. We prefer that you have a college degree but the desire to develop the greatest site around is more important than the degree. Your strengths should be from “code behind” to XML/XLS, HTML, DHTML and CSS.
We believe that you have:
• Experience in .NET och C#
• Several years of experience in web based systems
• Good knowledge in browser compatibility, client caching, JavaScript and web 2.0
• Knowledge about XML/XLS, HTML, DHTML och CSS
• Experience or a desire to working agile is an advantage
