We are looking for a Configuration Manager to our Stockholm office that will be responsible for securing that our production environments meets our compliance requirements and securing traceability within the change management process. Together with our Change Manager you will also work with identification, recording, and reporting of IT components, including their versions, constituent components and relationships. We have an exciting journey in front of us with new regulated markets and you as a CM will guide us through this.
What will you be doing?
• Setting up and populating the configuration management database.
• Ensuring that pre-defined activities are aligned with our change management process.
• Ensuring that the configuration management system provides accurate and up to date information.
• Ensuring that regular snapshots and configuration baselines are taken and protected.
• Triggering an auditing process on the configuration management database.
• Implementing a communications plan upon changes in the configuration management database.
• Considering the usage of a definitive media library as appropriate.
• Ensuring that the configuration process is performed as designed and fit for its purpose.
• Sponsorship, design, and continual improvement of the process and its metrics.
• We are working in a Microsoft environment so experience in MS related products like Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Team City is valuable.
Who are you?
We believe that the ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and at least five years of experience from working with the configuration management process as well as the change management process. You need to have excellent command of spoken and written English. You are process oriented, have a proactive mindset and are good at developing relationships with both customers and colleagues.
